Security Verified by Industry Leading Standards
Certified and Tested Security
ISO/IEC 27001:2022
ISO 27001 is an international standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to protect sensitive data systematically and effectively.
Our certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) covers the provision of the Dive app as well as software development, infrastructure management, sales, customer support, and other professional services. Offices included in the scope of the certification are located in Berlin, Germany, and Boston, USA.
The Assessment was conducted by BSI Group Deutschland GmbH. You can find the certification details here and request the actual certificate and Statement of Applicability (SoA) by using the form at the bottom of the page.

TISAX
We have taken extensive measures for the protection of confidential information.
Therefore, we follow the question catalogue of information security of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDAISA). The Assessment was conducted by BSI Group Deutschland GmbH. The result is exclusively retrievable over the ENX Portal.

Penetration Tests
We annually engage an independent third party to perform white-box security testing on the application and related infrastructure. We provide a summary of the audit results for our customers on request.
“The web application was analyzed - including the API - and was found to display a robust level of security. This was evidenced by the absence of exploitable vulnerabilities found during this engagement.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data secure when using Dive’s cloud-based CFD software?
Yes. Data security and confidentiality are core priorities at Dive, and we fully understand the concerns of organizations working with sensitive and proprietary information. Dive’s cloud infrastructure is built on Microsoft’s secure cloud platform, which complies with industry-leading security and compliance standards.
In addition, Dive is certified according to ISO 27001 and TISAX, demonstrating our commitment to robust information security management and the protection of confidential data throughout its lifecycle. These certifications cover organizational, technical, and operational security measures.
For customers with specific security or compliance requirements, we are happy to discuss them in detail. More information is available on our dedicated Security page.
What does the buying process look like?
Schedule a no-obligation demo with us to discuss your requirements and evaluate if our simulation methods suit your needs. If suitable, you can participate in a trial to test your case using our tool. During the trial, our Customer Success Engineer will provide support. Once the right package for your team is identified, we will send the contract for signing.
How much does the Dive's simulation software cost?
How you use our service depends on the number of simulation hours you need throughout the year. Think of it like choosing a data volume for your smartphone plan – you pick a package size based on your needs. The cost includes our support, hardware, and software, so you can focus on your engineering tasks, and we take care of the rest. If you want more details on pricing, visit our Pricing page.
Which simulation method are you using?
Dive uses a particle-based simulation method called Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). Unlike traditional grid-based methods, SPH is mesh-free, making it highly effective for simulating complex moving parts and dynamic fluid behaviors. In SPH, each particle represents properties like velocity and density. These particles interact with nearby particles, exchanging information to naturally simulate phenomena such as splashing, swirling, or turbulent flows. This approach allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in handling complex geometries and dynamic systems. Learn more about SPH in our easy-to-read article that breaks down the method in simple terms.
Does Dive also provide support or consulting services?
Yes. Dive provides comprehensive support for all users, including access to our Knowledge Base and standard support resources.
Advanced licenses include tailored consulting services, with a dedicated consultant who works closely with you to optimize your simulation workflows and ensure you get the most out of Dive. For projects that require deeper, domain-specific expertise, we also offer customized consulting engagements designed around your specific goals and challenges. Contact us to learn more about our support and consulting options!
What hardware is required?
No specialized hardware is needed. Dive's cloud-based simulation software runs on high-performance computing infrastructure, accessible from any device with an internet connection. This eliminates hardware costs, ensures scalability, and requires no maintenance on your end. Learn more about the benefits of cloud-native software here.
How long does it take to set up the software and start working with it?
After signing the contract, you'll receive your initial admin login. From that point on, you can start simulating and obtain results within a few hours. There's no installation or account setup required. To invite additional users, simply provide their email addresses.
