Multiple Designs in Parallel
Oil distribution validation for industrial planetary gear stages.
The possibility visualizing and analyzing the flow behavior including the wetting and power loss analysis of all components shows big potential. Within this study, the oil flow of two examples using planetary test gear units is successfully validated, considering a wide range of boundary conditions.

Faster Time To Result
Mass-parallelized simulations deliver precise control charts for water plant systems.
Cloud-enabled applications were initially designed to run in a fixed server farm and were later adapted to run in the cloud. This puts constraints on the cloud design, making it more difficult to fully leverage the advantages. Cloud-native applications are designed to run in a cloud environment instead of a fixed server farm. This way, the advantages of the cloud can be leveraged fully.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our frequently asked questions to learn more about Dive’s features, security, integration capabilities, and more

What does the buying process look like?

Schedule a no-obligation demo with us to discuss your requirements and evaluate if our simulation methods suit your needs. If suitable, you can participate in a trial to test your case using our tool. During the trial, our Customer Success Engineer will provide support. Once the right package for your team is identified, we will send the contract for signing.

How much does the Dive's simulation software cost?

How you use our service depends on the number of core hours you need throughout the year. Core hours are calculated based on the number of GPU cores running during simulations. Think of it like choosing a data volume for your smartphone plan – you pick a package size based on your needs. The cost includes our support, hardware, and software, so you can focus on your engineering tasks, and we take care of the rest. If you want more details on pricing, just reach out to us by booking a Demo, and we'll get back to you shortly.

Which simulation method are you using?

Dive uses a particle-based simulation method called Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). Unlike traditional grid-based methods, SPH is mesh-free, making it highly effective for simulating complex moving parts and dynamic fluid behaviors. In SPH, each particle represents properties like velocity and density. These particles interact with nearby particles, exchanging information to naturally simulate phenomena such as splashing, swirling, or turbulent flows. This approach allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in handling complex geometries and dynamic systems. Learn more about SPH in our easy-to-read article that breaks down the method in simple terms.

Does Dive also provide support or consulting services?

Yes, Dive provides comprehensive support and consulting services tailored to your needs. Support is always included with our software and covers onboarding, training, and ongoing assistance through our Customer Success team. For larger licenses, consulting services are partially included to help you optimize your simulation workflows. If you require in-depth consulting for specific projects, we are happy to discuss customized consulting services to fit your requirements. Contact us to learn more about our support and consulting options!

What hardware is required?

No specialized hardware is needed. Dive's cloud-based simulation software runs on high-performance computing infrastructure, accessible from any device with an internet connection. This eliminates hardware costs, ensures scalability, and requires no maintenance on your end. Learn more about the benefits of cloud-native software here.

How long does it take to set up the software and start working with it?

After signing the contract, you'll receive your initial admin login. From that point on, you can start simulating and obtain results within a few hours. There's no installation or account setup required. To invite additional users, simply provide their email addresses.
